Weiß Schwarz
I went for the Anime Festival Asia 2010 and chanced upon a trading card game called Weiß Schwarz (ヴァイスシュヴァルツ). It is about existing animation series participating in a battle gathered in one game. After the festival, I did some research. I found out that weiß actually means white, while schwarz means black in German.
During the festival, I didn’t buy them and I regretted it. I thought that the cards were only available during the festival and inJapan , because I didn’t even heard of it in Singapore , let alone seen of it! I search Google, but it come out with something else! I rephrase it and soon got the answer. It could be bought at Black Technology at Bedok and Sunshine Plaza at Bugis. I tried finding them in Bedok, but to no avail. So, I started looking for shops at Sunshine Plaza . There are 2 shops at Sunshine Plaza . I came an hour early than the opening time! One of the shops opened at while the other opened at ! So, I could only buy food, while waiting for the shop to open. It was around when I reach the store. Some people were playing the card game. When I approach the store owner, I ask for the cards but the cards I wanted were not available. He let me browse through a book on the cards. In the end, I bought a 'The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' booster as a ‘complimentary’ gift. I started to find out the rules of the card game and got to know the card. There was a problem. The cards were in Japanese! I search Google for English translation of the cards and soon found it. You can actually find the English translations from 'Links' at the side of my blog. The most memorable thing was, that day when I went home after I bought the booster pack, my mother saw that I bought a mere 8 cards with $6, she was mad at me that whole day.(sigh) I'm thinking how am I going to form a deck now...
